Years End

What a year!

I've been a bit MIA on my blog, I highly underestimated how much "free" time I would have with Baby Girl in the picture. Oh, please don't think I have been super mom and cleaning, cooking and rearing the perfect child.  My house is a wreck, I am always behind on laundry and well, homemade dinners are touch and go, but I would rather spend time playing with BG than cleaning.

Even with a messy house and frantic searches for clean underwear, I am so ridiculously sickeningly happy.  Today is the end of a great year and tomorrow is the start of what I can only predict will be an even greater year!

Today, I am off work and am at home with BG.  Right now she is taking a nap, the snow is falling outside and I am sipping on some delicious peppermint cocoa blogging with a very content smile and love in my heart.

Firsts!

I love firsts.  First love...first job...first baby.  :)

This weekend we took Sophia to her first Renaissance Fair!  Yes, I am a dork and love the Ren Fest!

It was an early start to the morning for this momma!  Up at 3:45 am, yes that is A.M not P.M, to get ready for garage sales at 5:15.  The army base close to us has two huge base wide garage sales each year.  Here is my loot!

Yes, that is a mini pink keyboard, most of the items still had tags on them!  All that for just under $40! Love it!

Right after the garage sales, I rushed home changed grabbed hubby and baby and headed to the Ren Fest!  It was a great time!  (See our friend Nick trolling our picture! LOL)

Our friends Chris and Sarah got her a cute jester hat! She wasn't very into at the moment though.

It was a great time and a very tiring weekend for me!  Sunday ended with cleaning up the house and a trip to Costco, the most wonderful place on earth! More on that later!
