Oh boy here we go!  Ladies and gentlemen, Kansas City will soon be getting a H&M and Sur la Table store.

O - Em - Frickin Geeee!!!!

Yup, we are sooo fancy pants now.   Both of these stores are on my faves list and I cannot wait.  I was content on H&M starting to sell to the US online, but now, oh yes, but now I can actually go into a store!

I am on cloud 9 and I will probably squeal like a tween who has just seen R-Patz.  You know what I'm talking about.

Some Like It Hot...

I do not.  I'm I have made everyone well aware of my disdain for hot weather.  Now, we are in a Heat Advisory through the weekend!  Oh joy.  Please note the sarcasm.

There is a small glimmer of hope on Sunday.  A very small glimmer. 

So, since the dog days of summer have arrived with a vengeance, I have decided to make the most of it.  Here are a few thing on my list to keep myself happy, occupied and cool!

Spend hours on my new obsession - Pinterest.  A place where you can let your imagination go and get great ideas for the home, style and crafts!

My next home decorating projects!

See what I mean, I could go on and on and on, well you get the idea. 

Since it's too hot to bake, I am on the hunt for the perfect summer salad, and I think I found it!!!  We have a great salad place called The Mixx, and I tried their "Garden of Eden" salad and it was Ah-mahzing!!!

"Cleansing" my house.  Sell and get rid of some old decor items on Craigslist and maybe rearrange some furniture and organize like crazy. One of my favorite things to do.

Reading and catching on movies and tv shows round out the list!!!

Opposites Attract

Husband and I are as opposite as you can get personality wise.

Me - Extrovert.  I love being around people, going places and doing things.  On vacations, I want to go sightseeing, I would not do well going to the lake for 5 days and just sit around "relaxing".  I would go crazy.

Out. Of. My. Mind.

Husband - Not a people person.  Likes to be alone and would love a vacation just sitting by the lake.  Don't get me wrong, he likes to hang out with friends.  But, he would not willingly go to a place with lots of people, example: amusement parks.
