The Hot Mess Life

Flirty Friday

Because my parents are in S. Korea visiting family (I keep talking about it, and am a little jealous can't you tell, hehe).  I am showing pictures of the Korean traditional dress called a Hanbok.  Hope you enjoy!

These are more traditional hanboks.

Here are more modern versions.

I love them all!!!

  1. Wow, beautiful fashion! My in-laws hosted a foreign exchange student from Korea last year and he was awesome! We learned a lot about Koren culture and found out that there was a Koren BBQ place down the street from us. We love bibimbop (I think that's what it's called?) and those pancakes with the kimchee in it! YUM.

  6. Saying hi from Mingle Monday! Love these hanbok's~ the modern ones have definitely taken something traditional and made it a part of the 21st century. i had a friend in college who wore her bright pink & green one to the new year celebrations. it was gorgeous!
